These "experts" cling to a Cartesian model of thinking. Cartesian refers to the philosopher Descartes who declared, "I do not recognize some difference between the machines made by craftsmen and varied bodies nature uncomparable composes." All scientists, whether they were physicists, botanists, or zoologists, soon adopted his concept that the subject of their study was a machine. Over time, however, every science but one opted down of that belief. The mechanistic, reductionist, biomedical worthy of health followed by our doctors and medical scientists still assumes our body functions same a machine. This antiquated theory says our body consists of a fixed number of parts working unneurotic like a clock. Disease results from their breakdown, and repair of the machine depends on a doctor’s intervention. All these levels are dynamic, participating in mutual inter- actions that influence the health of all organism. They are not unchangeable parts of a machine, independent from nature. The Importance of Having an Alkaline pH in Your Body and How To Achieve It.

Andy Long WHAT MOST PEOPLE DON’T REALIZE; WE ARE BIO ELECTRICAL ENGINES In order to accomplish all the many millions of complex functions that occur over the course of the day, your body has to be able to communicate with itself… complete the way falling to the alveolate level. And what is the main culprit in this case? The answer is the creation of acid in your body. This causes them to stay apart from all other, sort of like when you try to push the negative ends of two magnets together. They resist each other and stay apart. Unfortunately, acid interferes with this precise important mechanism in a pretty alarming way. Acid actually strips away the negative charge from red blood cells. The result is that your chromatic blood cells past tend to clump together and not flow as easily. This makes it much more ambitious for them to flow easily finished the bloodstream. The first step is to understand which of the foods you are eating and the drinks you are drinking are unpleasant and which are alkaline. Then it’s simply a matter of eliminating whatsoever of the much acid foods you are eating and adding in much alkaline foods. However, before you start, it’s influential to get a baseline of what the pH is in your body so that you can see how you are rising or if you need to continue to eliminate much acid foods and add in much alkaline ones. Understanding Nutrition

Dave Saunders With the release of the new dietary guidelines, in the form of the new food pyramid, I still find that many people don't actually understand what nutrition actually means. Because of this, dietary choices can seem overwhelming. Even greater confusion can be generated by prime time news specials which only strive to educate through artful sound-bites and diet fads which lead some to believe that all of their answers are found in cardinal single "magic food." So what is nutrition and how can you understand it in a way that helps you apply it to your life and to the benefit of those you know and love? Here's an analogy I have found helpful in teaching those who attend my liberated Sunday Night Wellness Call. Your body functions in a manner similar to a car assembly plant. At that plant, a resolute stream of spic-and-span parts, the proper parts and parts in the far ratios to all other are absolutely necessary in order to keep that plant open for business and moving smoothly. What would happen if someone in purchasing forgot to provide that plant with steering wheels? The cars would be almost functional. But because of a single part deficiency, that car would not be competent to carry down its intended function. If this single happened to a few cars, it probably wouldn't be a big deal. You wouldn't see any symptoms of a parts deficiency. But what if that plant had no steering wheels for an whole month? How active year? First the plant would probably close, the community would fail. good people would move away and the "bad elements" would most likely take over the town. The lack of balanced parts would eventually lead to dire conditions. What happens when the cells of your body are absent parts? You eat to provide your cells with nourishment. It's not just about calories. That nourishment is the collection of parts every cell in your body needs to function properly. You provide your cells with parts and those parts are concentrated according to instructions in your DNA to create a variety of polished products. That could include new cells, of which there are many kinds, anti bodies to fight disease, neurotransmitters to carry signals between nerves, and hormones to regulate your body. So again, there are beneficial injured materials in foods, which our bodies use, and need, to carry down vital cellular functions. These functions keep us alive. These functions combat disease. These functions allow us to heal. These functions allow our cells to build spic-and-span cells and complete of the opposite finished materials that are necessary for normal life and optimal health. And these raw materials are called nutrients. We eat to give our body access to nutrients. Sadly, our food does not contain the nutrients it once had in abundance, so it is necessary to supplement a good diet with superior nutritional supplementation to ensure that our cells do not suffer from a parts deficiency. We should still strive to have a good diet, from as many complete foods as possible, with supplementation being a means to supplement, not substitute, the benefits of a good diet.
